From the supplier: A recent EPA study on indoor air quality reveals that the amount of formaldehyde emitted by kitchen cabinets and other particleboard-based products is far from approaching 'concern' levels. After testing several combinations of urea formaldehyde-bonded products in a Maryland house, it is found that formaldehyde concentrations range only from 0.070 parts per million to 0.076 parts per million. These figures are even lower than predicted levels exceeding 0.1 parts per million.
